Location
The conference will be held on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, on the UC Berkeley campus at the Faculty Club. The Faculty Club is in the southeast part of campus; the campus provides an official map. For directions to the Faculty Club, you may visit its website. Please do not contact the Faculty Club with questions about the conference.
Transportation
The Bay Area has two local airports, Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO). Transportation to and from the airport is easy and reasonably priced using either Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) or a private shuttle service. Oakland airport has an Air-BART shuttle to the Coliseum BART station; SFO now has a BART station directly at the airport. BART's Downtown Berkeley station is at the foot of the UC Berkeley campus. For private shuttle service, we suggest BayPorter; you may make a reservation online, though at the airport you may also just pick up a ride without a reservation.
If you are driving, the campus provides directions.On-site parking is not available; please review public parking options.
Lodging
OHST is not able to make hotel reservations for visitors. However, we are pleased to provide a list of local hotels and motels.
Lunches
Visitors will be provided a list of nearby eateries. On Friday, April 23, lunch will be available for purchase in the Faculty Club dining room.
Disabled Access
Disabled access to the Faculty Club is via the patio on the south side of the building. The Friday sessions will be held on the ground floor. For the Saturday sessions, an audio hookup will be provided to a separate room on the ground floor. Signs each day will provide directions.
